While health officials manage the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community, the Seattle Symphony has made the difficult decision to cancel all performances scheduled for June 3–28 and July 25, 2020. All ticket holders will be notified.


Returning to a landmark project from 2013, Potlatch Symphony 2020 brings the Seattle Symphony and artists from Puget Sound’s first nations together in an exchange that celebrates this region’s land and ancestral history. In the “Pastoral” Sixth Symphony, Beethoven flung open the doors of the concert hall, attuning his symphonic craft to the natural world like never before.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The newly announced Digital Beethoven Fest will commemorate Beethoven's 250th birthday with a week-long celebration — running June 22–26, 2020 — featuring hosted panel discussions by Symphony musicians and staff with local artists and composers in addition to special performances. All panel discussions will be available through the Symphony’s YouTube channel. In addition, the Symphony will share special performances by members of the orchestra and partner artists throughout the week. Though the orchestra cannot gather at Benaroya Hall at this time, the Symphony invites the public to join in the celebration of Beethoven's legacy and partake in Digital Beethoven Fest's free online events and performances.
